ARC has recently begun collaborating with artist Justyn Livingston; translating her paintings into beautiful wool and silk rugs that will be made in Nepal.
With a background in product and textile design, this project brings Justyn back to her past where she designed rugs, bed and table linens and dinnerware for clients such as Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma.
‘The medium of rugs is very exciting—the textures, color and fibers can have a very painterly effect.’
Below are two images: 1 The original painting 2. The first rendering–interpreting the painting as a rug.
The next step will be in selecting the yarn colors and having a strike-off (small sample in actual yarns) made. Further progress notes to follow. Stay tuned.

We will update this as our promotions are happening.
